The Chippewa County Wisconsin Genealogical Society is now located in the new Chippewa Area History Center at 12 Bridgewater Avenue in Chippewa Falls, WI.
If you are unable to visit us in person, you can fill out our online research request form and we will respond by email with what information we find and what the research fees will be.

Join CCGS for our monthly meetings held on the fourth Saturday of January, February, March, April, May, September, October, and November, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A short business meeting is followed by a presentation related to family history and local history.
The fourth Monday in August is our Annual Potluck Picnic Meeting, held from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Bring a dish to share; coffee, water, plates and utensils are provided by CCGS. A short business meeting is followed by a presentation related to family history and local history.
Research assistance is available prior to and after monthly meetings.
To provide education and assistance to those who are tracing their family roots; to collect and maintain genealogical and historical materials; and to provide access to all materials and educational programs for members and the general public.
